Thaw ground turkey if necessary. Ensure all ingredients are out as well as a skillet and cooking tools. If using fresh sage, place in the bowl of food processor and pulse until finely minced. |

Place meat in a medium-size bowl. Add all ingredients and using your CLEAN hands, incorporate all the ingredients evenly into the meat. Do not over mix the meat mixture. I used about 2 tablespoons of meat for each patty. Number and size are up to you and how many mouths you are feeding. Remember you can adjust the serving size here on the left hand size and the ingredients will automatically adjust so you know what you need for a larger batch. |

Cover and place in fridge if you aren't cooking them right away. When you are ready, hit a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil in pan. Heat oil. Add your breakfast sausage to pan. Careful that they do not touch each other. Cook for 10 minutes, flipping every two minutes. |

Serve with a tiny drizzle of maple syrup (optional) and our favorite scrambled eggs recipe. Shown here are my turmeric eggs. After whisking 6 eggs with a 1/3 cup of milk of choice, I add in 1/2 T of pepper and 1/2 T of anti-inflammatory turmeric powder and prepare as usual for a power-packed breakfast for my troops. |
